The European Blind Union (EBU) is a non-governmental, non-profit making European organisation founded in 1984. It is one of the six regional bodies of the World Blind Union. It protects and promotes the rights of blind and partially sighted people in Europe. It currently operates within a network of national organisations of the visually impaired in 41 European countries - www.euroblind.org

JOB TITLE: Executive Director
JOB SECTOR: Civil society
LOCATION: Paris, France; frequent travelling to Brussels, Belgium; other arrangements like home-based work are open for discussion.
MOBILITY: Involves frequent travelling, mainly in Europe.
REPORTING: The Executive Director reports directly to the EBU President and the EBU Secretary General.
SALARY: €55000 yearly gross (including 13th month), + lunch vouchers and complementary health insurance.
CONTEXT: The European Blind Union. EBU is looking for a collaborator with confirmed skills to replace the outgoing Executive Director who goes on retirement after over 25 years of dedicated work to protect and promote the rights of over 30 million blind and partially sighted people who live in Europe.
