Facebook and Funka are co-organizing a virtual hackathon on accessibility and inclusion. We are inviting students from across Europe to pitch a product or idea. The finalists will present their solutions on the 30 of November – come join us!
Guests are welcome to the Final
The finalists of the Hackathon will present their solutions at a live-streamed event on the 30th of November at 4.00-5.30 pm CET. The jury consists of representatives of disabled persons organisations, policy makers and industry. International sign interpretation and live captioning will be provided.
Are you in for the challenge?
Facebook and Funka want to mobilize and encourage students from across Europe to create innovative digital solutions for increased accessibility. Your solution proposal could be for a program, a full app, a tool, or any digital solution intended to promote equal access to persons with disabilities.
Any student or group of students can participate, free of charge.
You are required to submit your solution/idea no later than November, the 9th. Your proposal should describe the audience that your solution will support, the access issue you will address and the parameters of your solution. You may include media items to complement your proposal such as images, mockups, audio recordings or links to prototypes.
If you are interested in participating – actively in the competition or in the audience - reach out today!
