Job Description
Marie-France has been working as a senior history teacher in a high school
near Paris teacher for more than 20 years. The college is situated in an area
with many foreigners and growing various social difficulties, which makes
teachers take a role of social workers, and she enjoys it.
Getting the job
Always wanting to be a history teacher, she fought to be exceptionally accepted
in spite of her blindness in an entrance exam at the ministry to become teacher
with the aggregation.
Adjustments
She has an assistant who writes on the board for her and helps her correct
exams. She knows her limits but for almost everything, she relies on her memory,
her Braille slate and stylus.
