Emmanuel is a researcher in mathematics. He says that curiously enough, all blind mathematicians like geometry, although it means working with images. This is because the images are only the representation of a concept. New IT proved to be a big help in his work.

Getting the job

With help of friends, colleagues, teachers, he succeeded in his mathematics studies.

Adjustments

He uses a PC with Braille and speech output that allows him to read the newest scientific articles, to write his own articles including charts, and to prepare presentation material.
