Job Description
Use different approaches with the patient, under medical prescription, such as
manual, educational, recreational and cultural activities to achieve the desired
responses, which may be physical or mental. Care of the equipment used in the
occupational therapy service plus monitoring and noting clinical data to ensure
patients are properly observed.
Getting the job
A qualification in occupational therapy is required. Computer skills are
helpful. Experience is an advantage.
Adjustments
Screen magnifier, Optical Character Reader, screen reader software, screen
magnification software and talking notetaker.
