Job Description
Regis started with the organization of the wine cellar and cave, the
handling, stocking and turning of the bottles following the “méthode champenoise”,
the selection of the right varieties and tasting. Today, he manages the entire
winery, from the production to the commercialisation.
Getting the job
After his diploma as physiotherapist, he started
working in his parents’ winery, where he learned on the job. When he took over
the direction of the winery, he studied oenology, accounting and English.
Adjustments
At first he only needed Braille labelling. Now that his tasks grew, he uses a
computer with Braille display for the following up of customers, bank accounts,
salaries, stocks etc. He also uses a scanner and a character recognizing
software to read the newest market trends, and a Braille note.
