Belgium - The BrailleTech Exhibition Making life easier for visually impaired people

From Thursday the 13th until Saturday the 15th of October, Brailleliga/Ligue Braille organises BrailleTech. Join the exhibition and discover a huge range of technical aids that make life easier for visually impaired people. Attended by all Belgian suppliers, BrailleTech is a unique opportunity to try out and compare existing products and innovations. Discover all kinds of technical aids, including simple items that are used in everyday life or more complex devices, which require special training. The employees of Brailleliga/Ligue Braille will gladly offer impartial advice and help you find the most suitable aids for your specific situation.

In addition, you can participate in one of the many workshops and information sessions organised throughout the exhibition. Learn how to make better use of your electronic devices at ‘the iPad help desk', or discover which applications can facilitate your life at ‘the best of the Appstore'. Artistically minded visitors can release their inner Van Gogh and learn how to make their own piece of art at the workshop ‘ground-breaking painting'. Always been curious about applying make-up when you are visually impaired? Get some useful tips at the booth ‘How to successfully apply make-up'.
