e-workshop “Getting to know EBU”

You can now register for the first e-workshop “Getting to know EBU” to be held on Thursday 5 July from 10 to 11.30 UTC+2, in English.

To be repeated every year, this e-workshop is aimed in priority at any staff and volunteers of EBU member organisations. It will explain how the European Blind Union and its office work, present the constraints and limitations faced, and help improve internal communication with you through transparent and harmonised use of EBU technical terminology. Participants are encouraged to download the glossary of EBU and visual impairment-related terms (accessible PDF version).

The programme will be as follows:

  1. Presentation of EBU – 10 minutes – Mokrane BOUSSAÏD, Executive Director
  2. EBU and campaigning – 20 minutes – Antoine FOBE, Head of Campaigning
  3. Break – 10 minutes
  4. EBU information tools – 15 minutes – Gary MAY, Information Officer
  5. EBU 2018 activities – 20 minutes – Romain FERRETTI, Project Officer
  6. Questions and answers – 15 minutes

The e-workshop will be carried out through the Cisco WebEx virtual conference system. Connection instructions will be circulated to registered participants in due course.
