The International Camp on Communication and Computers - ICC 2020

A unique 10-day summer camp for blind and partially sighted youth from 16 to 21 years old.

ICCs are organised by the ICC international association, a no-profit organisation with national coordinators in a large number of countries. Every year, ICC is held in a different country and this time it will take place in Aveiro, Portugal, from July 21 to July 30.

The ICC camp is a great opportunity to experience how ITCs and ATs enrich the lives of blind and partially sighted people. Young participants from about 16 different European countries will enjoy plenty of intercultural activities, communication and networking opportunities, planning for future study and job integration, together with fun and leisure time activities.

ICC sessions mainly focus on managing real life situations thanks to ITCs and enhancing the skills needed to use them. Participants can choose among numerous seminars, held by experts from all over the world, and the sessions primarily help to get to know the newest developments about ATs, Internet, software and accessible apps but also help to improve personal and intercultural skills, make some study or training experiences abroad and start looking for a job.
