On 10 January, the EBU Project Group on accessible voting awareness (AVA) met for the third time. The project leaders from the Dutch Oogvereniging and the German Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted were joined by the EBU Central Office to develop an awareness-raising module on accessible elections. The team will now prepare a video to show the problems faced by visually impaired voters and a brochure with solutions for decision-makers across Europe. The basis for this module is the AVA Report, which EBU published last year. This report was also presented to the Ministry of the Interior in the Netherlands, to the Fundamental Rights Agency of the EU and to other institutions across Europe.
