EBU’s member in the UK, RNIB, has recently published a new version of the Sight Loss Data Tool with some new indicators and in a new format.
It give everyone access to the latest information for better planning and service delivery across the eye health and sight loss sector.
This is a free to use tool which contains a wide range of eye health and sight loss statistics and different modelled estimates. Although it is based on the UK population, I regularly hear from overseas sight loss organisations who want to produce similar statistics to support their own work. Most recently, we’ve supported the Association of French Optometrists replicate the figures to support a national service review.
