2025 has had a special meaning for the blind and partially-sighted community worldwide: this year marked the bicentenary of the invention of the braille code and many associations working in the domain of visual impairment have celebrated this throughout the year.
On 13th November, four French organisations of people with visual impairment organised a full-day conference filled with interesting roundtables at the French National Library. The program also featured a late evening concert at INJA, the place where Louis Braille completed his studies.
