It is with humbleness and pride that I have stepped into the position of the President of the European Blind Union. Being the first female President and who is younger than the organization itself feels remarkable and exciting.

From Lisbon to the Future: Learnings from the 12th EBU General Assembly

Following the General Assembly in Lisbon, an evaluation survey was conducted. Here you can download the report from the results of the evaluation survey. It was sent to 140 delegates and guests, highlighting several key themes and gathered 56 overall responses.


Introducing our new officers

The elections held during our General Assembly in Lisbon led to some changes and new faces among the EBU officers, as well some familiar faces providing continuity. You will already have heard from Tytti Matsinen, our new President, in her article in this newsletter. Two of the other elected officers appear on the Board for the first time and here you learn more about them with introductions from our 2nd Vice-President Kevin Kelly, and our Treasurer, Roland Studer.
