Preparing our next General Assembly – electronic voting

The EBU Board has started preparing for our upcoming General Assembly in 2027. We are looking into new ways of voting electronically in our next assembly and request information from members using a digital voting solution in their elections.

The usage and learning of Braille on the road to becoming an intangible cultural heritage of humanity

In 2020 the blind community started a movement to get Braille recognised as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. Now the process has begun to include the usage and learning of Braille in the list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity which hopefully will take place next year. EBU members can take part in this process.

The General Assembly of the World Blind Union took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on the first week of September. On Thursday 4th September, EBU members gathered together to share information on current matters.
