From prejudice and misconceptions to unwillingness to accommodate the workplace, blind and partially sighted persons cannot enjoy their right to work on an equal basis with their sighted peers nowadays. However, most employers are unaware of the hidden potential of our communities: apart from bringing more diversity to teams, visually impaired people can offer you valuable expertise in the area of accessibility and inclusion.
