The European Blind Union is delighted to launch its 2025 Annual Report. As done on a yearly basis, our organisation compiles the insights of its main activities according to the objectives set on our Strategic Plan.
Last year will always be remembered as the one where the bicentenary of the braille code was celebrated across Europe. In this sense, a section is dedicated to that milestone in the document, where readers can learn more about the commitments of EBU’s braille Working Group for that special occasion.
Of course, you will also learn more about our organisation’s main advocacy highlights, such as our Cocktail Event at the European Parliament on February 2025 (an activity which was kindly sponsored by MEP Li Andersson, Chair of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs) or our meeting with the Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib concerning our asks ahead the second half of the European Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030.
